We started KillNet Switch because the internet stopped being safe.
Today, a single click can cost a family their savings or a business its reputation. We're a team of New Zealand engineers who decided to do something about it.
KillNet Switch was founded on a simple promise: your data, and the people you love, deserve to be 100% safe online. We started with parental internet control - a kill switch a parent could actually trust - and grew it into a full defence platform that protects homes, small businesses and enterprises right across Aotearoa.
Today our platform monitors infrastructure in real time, hunts threats with Suricata IDS at the edge, and uses generative AI to translate millions of raw alerts into briefings any board member can read. It's the same product whether you're a household of four or a critical-infrastructure operator with thousands of nodes.
We build in New Zealand because we believe sovereign data, local accountability and face-to-face trust still matter - especially in security. Our team turns up at security events across the country because we'd rather meet our customers in person than hide behind a chatbot.
